Access Use the 4-digit code assigned to you on the front door lock (press “lock” icon to lock door from outside)

Personal Safety: - DO NOT allow people claiming to be our cleaners or maintenance access the unit. Our partners know to NEVER bother guests. This includes at check out time. Our cleaners are required to enter their access code to unlock the door for entry.

Garbage & Recycling
- Bag all kitchen trash (including fridge contents) and place bags in the outdoor dumpsters.
- Lock the dumpsters with the bear bar & clip after every use.

Neighborhood and County Rules & Noise Regulations

Please read the Kingswood Village Rental Rules posted in the rental unit.

Please read the Placer County “Good Neighbor Policies” flyers posted in the rental unit, with particular notice of noise restrictions and fines for violations.

Fireplace:
-** Turn it off every time you leave the house and overnight.**
- To light: first put flame from a hand lighter at base of the logs, then turn on gas using the gas key. 
- DO NOT place anything in the fireplace to burn. Do not move logs.

Climate Control:
- The Nest thermostat is located in the hallway by the kitchen. Rotate the side ring to adjust the target heating temperature (there is no air conditioning). 

 Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, Basketball Court:
- Kingswood Village guests have access via keyfob, located on a hook next to the front door. (The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9:00am - 8:00pm.)

 House Supplies:
 - Paper towels, toilet paper, soap, or other cleaning supplies are available for your use while staying here.

Trash and Cleaning Garbage / Compost / Recycling
Trash, compost, and recycling may all be placed in the same trash bag DO NOT leave any waste items outside of the dumpster.

Please, please, please help to maintain a trash-free environment at Kingswood Village.

Bathroom supplies:

No shower soaps, body washes, or shampoo/conditioner are provided.

There are hairdryers in each bathroom.

Baby / Toddler Equipment:

There is one Pack N Play, one high chair booster seat, and two baby gates.

Laundry:

Washer and Dryer are located on the first floor. Laundry soap is provided for your convenience.

Linens:

Fresh bed linens and towels are provided before each use.

Extra blankets, electric blankets, and pillows are located in bedroom closets.

You do NOT need to strip the beds or start any laundry before you leave.

House Cleaning:
 The house is thoroughly cleaned before and after each guest’s visit. (Cleaning may not be fully completed if you attempt an early check-in)

Emergency Information Lights & Lanterns:

Emergency lanterns are in drawers/cabinets throughout house

Emergency space heaters: In the event of a failure of the house heating system, space heaters are available in the downstairs closet.

**Due to fire risk, space heaters must be turned off when unattended.**

***To avoid additional charges, please review the following list before your departure.***
 * Place all your dishes in the dishwasher with the detergent provided and press "start" before you go.
Please hand-wash any extra dishes that don't fit in the dishwasher.
 * Bag and remove kitchen trash, recycling, and fridge contents and put in the outdoor trash dumpsters.
 * Return all furniture and objects to their original positions.
 * Double-check cupboards, drawers, under beds, etc. for your personal items. We are unable to process/return any personal items left behind.
 * Turn off all electronics and lights. 
 * Return pool keyfob to hook and door keys to lockboxes (if applicable)
 * Close and lock all windows and doors.
 * * In general, we ask that you leave the home the way you found it. Our cleaning staff will take care of unmaking the beds, laundering bedding and towels, sanitizing bathrooms & kitchen, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc.
